If ever there was a hospitable, fun family, the Kessingers would be it. Mrs. Carolyn was my Bible study leader this past year and has been a great influence in my life. Her family gathered for her birthday and invited me to stay for a while after photos to play around. Happy birthday, Mrs. Carolyn! I loved getting to know your sweet family!
Mariella is the cutest, most squeezable little girl that I have seen in a long time! She is beautiful. This was my first opportunity to photograph a baptism and party after. Let me tell you that this celebration was one of the most beautiful events I have been to in a long time. What an awesome opportunity for celebration: commitment to raising your daughter in the Lord. So beautiful! During the service, three of Mariella’s older brothers played guitar and sang. Mariella, it was an honor to photograph your baptism and party! The beautiful party was at the home of Kristy & Leon Atkins, the Briars in Natchez, MS.

I love it when I can watch the children I am blessed to photograph grow. I photographed Ben last summer for the first time. He was barely walking back then. Now, he is hammering, nailing, and a captain of a sailboat! But by far, Ben has the most amazing skill I have ever seen a not-quite-two-year-old have. He can swim. Without assistance, without a life-jacket. Real swimming. I was amazed. He’d swim to his daddy across the width of the pool, and when he got a little tired, he knew to flip and float for a few seconds. Amazing.

Almost exactly a year ago little Miss Stella’s mommy and I walked around the New Orleans area shooting her maternity shots. The very next day Stella arrived! I was so excited to get to photograph her this summer! We played in the park all day and had such a great time! Enjoy!

I met sweet little Charlotte in New Orleans this summer. She is so sweet and so happy. We had such a great time playing at the Storyland Park! This little sweetie was an amazing trooper. We walked around in the muggy heat, and she smiled the whole time!
